The highly anticipated 2024 total solar eclipse has begun its path across North America. It will make its way across the continent on Monday, April 8, spanning from Mexico to Canada.
Mashable has all the info on its path of totality and the time the eclipse will reach each area, which began in Mexico around 11 a.m. ET and will continue to make its way north throughout the afternoon. The further north the location, the later the eclipse will take place.
Lots of folks — more than 30 million — live in the path of totality, making it a pretty special eclipse. Plenty of others traveled to get a glimpse of the jaw-dropping phenomenon. People who’ve chased eclipses in the past have said it’s a once-in-a-lifetime, truly perspective-changing experience. And, thus far, the images have been fantastic. Just look at these images.
